Amethyst Terminal server
Problem: Statuses don't update on AMTTermsrv
or Amethyst.
Resolution: The AMTSmartsrv sends status updates using
IP addresses to the AMTTermsrv. If the AMTTermsrv is configured
using host names, the updates will not work and recordings
might be saved without extension numbers or user names.
Amethyst PRI server
Problem: No recordings are found when searching
on Amethyst supervisor, but recordings are being processed
by Sweeper.
Resolution: When using the AMTPRIServer, make sure
that user names are linked to extensions on Topaz. Recordings
will get a blank user name from Topaz, and will not be
visible when searching.
Other Amethyst related issues that have been identified
Problem: Some of the features are available on
one supervisor and not available on another. This can
happen with the client software as well.
Resolution: Check that all the supervisors are the
same version. Some stations might have been skipped when
upgrading. Upgrade the mismatched versions to the latest
version.
Problem: 'DLL file missing' error messages when
starting the Supervisor, Server, Sweeper, or AQMReports.
Resolution: When upgrading to the new Amethyst
(version 1.4 or newer), please ensure that Interbase
is uninstalled and Firebird is installed. Check that
all the required DLL files are also installed with
the new software. These DLL files must be in the same
folder as the Amethyst software that has been upgraded.
