Overview:
Only one call can be made on a line at a time.
If the PABX unit does not give off a line number for an
internal call, internal calls will not be recorded.
Configuration:
TOPAZ:
Check that line numbers is configured with the IP of the
AMETHYST server, under TOPAZ -> DATA -> LOOKUPS -> LINES -> IPAmethyst
Check that your plugin is giving off the correct line
numbers, under TOPAZ -> DATA -> LOOKUPS -> LINES -> Line
Make sure that the user names is entered under,
TOPAZ -> DATA -> USERS and linked to extensions under,
TOPAZ -> DATA -> EXTENSIONS
If there are no user name linked to the extension it will show
"PRI" under the user in the PRI server screen.
Your extension in the extension list on the PRI server must exist,
under [TOPAZ -> DATA -> EXTENSIONS].
PRI Server:
ALSO SEE: How to configure clients with the PRIServer.
Things to remember:
In the PRIServer the number displayed as being recorded is the channel number. You
can get the line number for this channel in the PRIServer.ini. This line number must be
configured in the PRIServer.ini and in TOPAZ (as explained above).
The PABX must give off this line number, else we cannot attach the call details. Some
PABX's does not give off a line number for internal calls (for example the Mitel). These
calls will all be marked as PRI and have the PRI server PC date and time. If this PC date
is incorrect, you will find this call as PRI under a different date and time in AMETHYST.
The plugin must translate the call data string to give off the correct line number for
TOPAZ. You can make a call and test this by tracing the cannel being recorded on in the
PRIServer program, to the line number in the PRIServer.ini. This line number will be used
to attach the call details. The line number is configured in TOPAZ (explained above).
