Amethyst: Searching for a Recording

Postby Belinda Frick » Tue Nov 16, 2010 12:47 pm

1. Open the AmtSupervisor.

(either double-click on the shortcut on the
desktop "Amethyst Supervisor" or go to the
following directory: "C:\Program Files\Datatex\
Amethyst\AMTSuper\amtsuper.exe" )

2. Login with your USERNAME and PASSWORD.

3. Click on the "RECORDING DATA" button -
top left hand corner or choose "Recording Data"
from the "File" menu list.

4. A "Recording Data" screen will open where you
can search for any recording(s).

If you know any specific information about the
recording you can narrow down the search by
typing what you know in the edit boxes provided
underneath the headings.

DEMO INPUT FORMAT UNDERNEATH HEADINGS:

Date/Time : 2004-11-16
User : JUDY VAN ZYL
Ext : 126
Number : 0219335440
Destination : DEBBIE ROBINSON
Duration : 0:04:24
AQ : A
Reference : 97_07D471CFEA
IO : OUT
Line Num : 4
Short Notes : Stock order

You do not need to use the exact keyword
in order for the search to work e.g.

If you know the number starts with "02193"
you can type these digits and all calls
starting with "02193" will be displayed.

5. Now click "Enter" after inserting the
information.

When clicking on the "Calls for today" button
all the calls will be filtered with the
search criteria for today.

When clicking on the "Search Any" button,
all calls will be retrieved regardless of
the search criteria. This will take several
seconds / minutes depending on the amount of
call data in your database.

6. After you find the recording,
double-click on it.

7. On the recording page is a set of standard
media player buttons to listen to the recording.

The following are also included:

Save or e-mail recording;
Print the review details;
View screenshots if it was enabled
when the recording took place;
Audit Trail which will provide you
with a list of everyone who has
accessed the recording.
