How does my recording get processed?:

Required:

AmtSmartSrv
AmtTermSrv
AmtFileMan

Overview: Applications to run and files created:

The AmtSmartSrv creates GSM files
(check logfile for problems: AmtSmartSrv.log)
TOPAZ/AmtSmartSrv/AmtTerSrv creates DTA/DT1/DT2 files
(check logfile for problems: AmtTermSrv.log)
The AmtFileMan creates ZLB files in the work folder
(check logfile for problems: AMTFileMan.log)

Detail: Applications to run and files created:

In the Smartworks folder you will find:
*.gsm
*.png
*.txt
*.dta/*.dt1/*.dt2 files

In order of less information to more inrmation:
1. .dt1 contains call data from the AmtSmartSrv recording Server (Date, Time, Channel)
2. .dt2 contains call data from the AmtTerSrv (Date, Time, Extension)
3. .dta contains call data from Topaz (Date, Time, Extension, Number, Line, Direction)

ALSO SEE: What are the .dt* files

The AmtFileMan (logfile: AMTFileMan.log) creates ZLB
files in the work folder.
Minimum requirements for a ZLB is at least a GSM and DTA/DT1/DT2.

To create a ZLB file the GSM (check logfile for problems: AmtSmartSrv.log) and
DTA/DT1/DT2 (Check logfile for problems: AmtTermSrv.log) files are needed,
else there will be no recording.
ALSO SEE: TROUBLESHOOTING: Other general configuration problems

The sweeper processes these ZLB files (Check logfile for problems: AMTSweeper.log).

Missing files:

If the recording has no date (the PABX unit did not give a
date), then the gsm file is dumped into the root of the exclusive folder
(E.G. C:\exclusive\ ). If there is no DT* files found, the recording is lost.
