How do I set up pabx3 to send call records to smdrlink?

Postby Belinda Frick » Wed Nov 17, 2010 8:38 am

Overview:

When using smdrlink it replaces TOPAZ, therefore we can use the TOPAZ
port which is 25000. If using the TOPAZ port, TOPAZ cannot be running.
Also make sure no other application is running on that port.

Setup:

SMDRLink (Linux)
========

Open the 'Amethyst Web Admin'.
Go to the 'Server Settings' section, click on 'Stop SMDR Link'.
Go back to the 'main section', click on 'Configure SMDR Link'.
Select the 'PTopazPipe.so' plugin from the drop-down list labeled 'Plugin name'.
Set 'listen for UDP' to 'On'.
Enter the port number you wish SMDRLink to listen on, in the 'UDP Listen Port'
field. The default Topaz UDP listen port is 25000.
Click on 'Apply Changes'.
Go to the 'Server Settings' Section, click on 'Start SMDRLink'.

SMDRLink (Windows)
========

The Windows version needs to be configured in the ini file.
Location: C\:Program Files\Datatex\SMDRLink\AMTSMDRLink.ini

Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools.
Double-click on services and select the amtsmdrlink.
Click on 'stop'.

Once the service is stopped, edit the AMTSMDRLink.ini file.

AMTSMDRLink.ini:

[SMDRLINK]
pluginName=PTopazPipe.dll
pluginPath=C:\Program Files\Datatex\smdrlink\
exchangePath=C:\Program Files\Datatex\smdrlink\
vipLinkPath=C:\Program Files\Datatex\smdrlink\
getSetPath=\
enableGetExchange=0
enableVipLink=0
serverIP=cardserver
serverPort=27002
debug=1
listenUDP=1
listenUDPPort=25000
createRawData=1
UdpToPabx3=0
pabx3ServerIP=127.0.0.1
pabx3Port=25001

Set UdpToPabx3 to 0 to disable sending to PABX3.

Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools.
Double-click on services and select the amtsmdrlink.
Click on 'start'.

Pabx3
=====

PABX3 must already be receiving call data and displaying it under
the 'CALL DATA' section.

Under the 'Options' drop-down menu select 'Network'.
Tick the 'Network enable' block.
In the 'Topaz Networking' section,
Tick the 'Network enable' block.
change the 'Topaz IP' to the IP of the machine the
SMDRLink is running on.
Change the 'Port' to whatever the 'UDP Listen Port'
has been set to in the Webadmin under 'Configure SMDR Link'.
The default Topaz UDP listen port is 25000.Save the changes.

SMDRLink should now be receiving data from the Pabx3.
