Required:
Install USBClient V1.5.0.11 or higher on the client PC.
Update is available on our website, www.datatex.co.za, under
the member area section for AMETHYST 1.5.
Install version 1.5.0.15 or higher of the Webadmin.

Make sure that you are running outlook on the client pc,
we tested this feature on Outlook 2003.
Configuration:
Login to the Webadmin.
On the Amethyst main page, click on the 'Outlook Integration' link.
To enable the feature, check the 'Enable Outlook Integration' checkbox.
Configure a supervisor for the remote listen feature. Select the
Supervisor from the 'Remote Listen Supervisor' drop-down list.
A Supervisor license is required for remote listening, for example,
when you click on the link in Outlook.
You can use an existing Supervisor, but then he/she cannot be logged in
at the time when you listen to a recording. You will have to buy an
extra Supervisor license (for Outlook use only) to have all the other
Supervisors available in AMETHYST for Supervisor functionality. The
same 'Outlook' supervisor is used to access all the recordings in the
'Outlook journals'. The access that this Supervisor is setup with is
also the remote listen access.
Click on the 'APPLY CHANGES' button, this will report the setting to
all the clients (USBClient and SLVR).
Explanation:
After a call is recorded and has exceeded the minimum length, the client
application will create a journal entry for outlook. All the call details
will be in the journal entry. There will also be a url with the recording
number. When you click on the link, a web page will open with the
information and the recording. This means that agents can listen to there
own recordings.
