How do I update AMETHYST 1.4 on the Linux server?

Option 1:

Log into the AMETHYST Administrator.
Stop the AMETHYST server.
Ftp the AMETHYST update file to the temp folder.
You will need the AMETHYST login and password.
Copy the update file from temp folder to the bin folder.
Start the AMETHYST server via the AMETHYST Administrator.
The update should now be registered.


Option 2

Save the update to your flash drive.
Put the flash into the Amethyst server.
Click on "Upgrade" on the webadmin.
Load the update file from your flash drive.

Please note: Option 2 is only applicable if you have the 1.5 webadmin interface for 1.4.
