Recordings methods:

  • Smartworks Recording card:

Default minimum recording lenght: 2 seconds configurable

  • USBClient:

Default minimum recording lenght: 15 seconds fixed

  • Kyanite(discontinued):

Default minimum recording lenght: 0 seconds configurable

    To configure:
Log in to the Kyanite web administration. (Open the web browser,
enter http://127.0.0.1:4080 (or the ip address of the pc on which
    the Webadmin was installed).
Click on the user name link
Look for 'Minimum duration of marked calls'
This can be changed to x amount of minutes or seconds

  • AMETHYST 1.5 Administrator:

After the recording is made with one of the methods listed,
it is loaded into the AMETHYST database. When loaded into
the database the minimum call duration can be specified.

Default recording lenght: 0 seconds configurable

    To configure:
Log in to the AMETHYST web administration. (Open the web browser,
enter http://127.0.0.1:3080 (or the ip address of the pc on which
    the Webadmin was installed).
    Select 'Configure Cardserver/CRE'.
Click on the '+' next to 'Options'.
Enter the minum duration for a recording in 'Min duration in seconds'.
Click on 'Apply' to save. Note that when you click on Apply the it
will restart the recording software. This will cut current recordings
    taking place.

  • AMTMitelCRE:

There is a minimum duration. It's configurable, and the default is 2 seconds.

NOTE: The CRE doesn't look at AMTMitel's duration, but uses the duration of the recording file. It is told to start and stop recording by the SRC, so AMTMitel will have no affect on duration.
