SMDRLINK and the Mitel PABX (tcp connect)

Required:

SMDRLink webadmin version 1.1.3.1 or newer.
available on www.datatex.co.za under the member area as part of the AMETHYST 1.5 update.
IP Address of the Mitel PABX
must be supplied by the PABX dealer (will vary from site to site)
Port number of the Mitel PABX
must be supplied by the PABX dealer (default is 1752)

Overview:

Use the default install settings of SMDRLink and only change the settings
listed below. Please note that your PABX dealer must supply you with
the IP address and port number of the Mitel PABX.

SMDRLink configuration for connecting to the Mitel PABX:

Open SMDRLink webadmin, http://amethyst:3081. You can also use the AMETHYST server IP
instead of the server name (in this case 'amethyst').

Under the 'General Settings' section:
Set Log Level to 'ALL' for testing purposes.
Set ServerIP to the AMETHYST server IP.
Select the Mitel plugin under Plugin.
Set Listen UDP to 'On'.
Set Write Raw Data to 'On' for testing purposes.
Under the 'Communication Settings' section:
Select 'NETWORK' from the drop down.
Once 'NETWORK' is selected the following will be displayed:
Set PABX IP to that of the PABX.
Set PABX port to the port of the Mitel PABX (default is 1752)
Set Authentification Information if required.
First enter the user login and the press enter.
Thereafter enter the password and press enter.
The 'Alcatel ....' is set to 'Off'.
The 'TCP Server' is set to 'Off'.
Click on 'Apply'.
Log out of SMDRLink.
Log into AMETHYST webadmin, http://amethyst:3080. You can also use the AMETHYST server IP
instead of the server name (in this case 'amethyst').
Go to the 'Settings' page.
Click on 'Stop SMDRLink'.
Click on 'Start SMDRLink'.
Log into SMDRLink.
Check log files to see if SMDR data is received.

Hardware Flow: Off
Software Flow: Off
TCP Server: Off
TCP Listen Port:
Alcatel Protocol: Off
