Critical error: ... ArchiveRecording: Checksum failed

Postby Belinda Frick » Thu Nov 18, 2010 10:01 am

The USBClient created a duplicate recording ID. This caused the
checksum error when archiving. Please note that these recording
are lost. You can search for the call, but on playback there is
not recording file play.

Recording solution: USBClient:

This error could occur if the older version of the USBClient is
still in use. Please ensure that all USBClients(at least the
update amt-usbclient-install_update-1_5_2_1.exe) and SLVR's (at
least the update amt-slvr-update-1_5_2_0.exe) is on the latest
version.

How do I check which USBClients/SLVR's is on an older version?

You can log in as supervisor and list the agents
(under 'List Agents'). It will display the version
number of the USBClient or SLVR. If you click on the
'Version' heading it will sort by version number.
Please note that the supervisor will only list the agents
it has access to. You need to verify all agents
(for all supervisors).

Please check in the sweeper log, for the day the
critical error entry was logged, if there is a 'duplicate'
entry for the gsc file in question. The gsc file name
contains the ip address of the problem recording. Use this
to check the version number of the USBClient or SLVR. In
this example the IP will end in 189.

Recording solution: Cardserver:
