- The ZLB file will only be created if there is a GSM and DT* file.
If USBClient does not receive SMDR data, it will create a DT2 file.
If no DT* files then no SMDR was received and no DT2 created.
Please check access and security settings.
Required:
Make sure you are running at least amt-usbclient-install-1_6_0_20.exe.
Check the following:
Go to Windows Task Manager and click on the 'Processes'.
Tick 'Show processes for all users'.
Sort by Process.
Check the user the USBClient interface and recording core is running for.
The recording core runs as System and the USBClient interface as the agent login.
The agent must have full access to:
{ALLUSERSPROFILE}\Application Data\Datatex\USBClient\{Username}
- To view it:
By default Windows is set not to display hidden files and folders.
To view these, in Windows go to Tools > Folder Options >
For XP now click on the "View" tab and enable
Show Hidden Files and Folders
Show Windows critical folders
Select Windows Start, then My Computer, C drive, Documents and Settings,
All users, Application data, Datatex, USBClient.
To give access:
Right-click on the folder, select 'Properties' and click on the
'Securities' Tab. Click on the user name and the tick 'Full Control'.
Click on 'Apply' to enable. Make sure the folder is not set to 'Read Only'.
Fire wall:
Both must be allowed (system and window login).
Both must be able to make changes (system and window login).
