Nothing happens when I click on record on the SLVR / AVR

***AVR (Active Voice recorder) has been discontinued and replaced with ONYX. Please contact your dealer for upgrade options.***

Your sound card might not support the required format. Try using 11 Khz instead
of 8 Khz. This can be changed under the AVR/SLVR Options dialog.

Make sure you are using the correct sound device. You can select a sound device
in the AVR/SLVR Options dialog.

You may be running two AVR or SLVR applications. You can check this by pressing
the Ctrl, Alt and Delete keys at the same time. On Windows NT and 2000, you
will have to click on "Task Manager", and then "Processes" to see the same info.
Check that only one SLVR or AVR is running.

Another program may be using the sound device. Check for sound-related
applications (Windows Media Player, Sound Recorder, etc.) which may be using
the sound device.

If none of the above has helped, make sure you can record with another sound
application.
(e.g. Windows Sound Recorder, under Start->Programs->Accessories->Entertainment)
If you can record with another application, please contact us for
telephone support.
If you have problems recording with other sound applications, your sound card
may be faulty. Try with another sound card.
