- The polarity swapping can cause this issue. E.g the analog
cable begin unplugged and reconnected after the wires are swapped around, the calbes being swapped around on the Cellular router or PBX side.
The cardserver detects the polarity at startup and assumes it will not change while
the system is running. If it does change while the cardserver is running, it is
possible that the voltage changes are not detected and it doesn't start recording.
To resolve it, try the following:
- You can reset the one channel in the cardserver:
AMETHYST Home Page -> Configure Cardserver -> Analog Slot
Please note: AMTCards unencrypted version 1.6.1.59:
This version still has a bug where it cannot recover if you disable
faulty channels. DO NOT DISABLE FAULTY CHANNELS on this version.
You will need to stop and start AMTCards or restart the server to
recover.
- You can stop and start the AMTCards service.
Please note: No recordings will take place will stopping and
starting the service. It will also cut recordings currently taking place.
- You can shut the server down and power it up again.
These action will allow AMTCards set polarity.
- Re-do the wiring. Some cable might not be making proper contact. Also check that the wirings is not in a position to come loose after a while.
