Windows popup error when opening AMTListen 1.0.3.0:IN memory

Postby John Richard Procter » Thu May 12, 2011 10:21 pm

  1. The memory error can indicate that the AMTListen.exe has been
damaged. This could be caused by a virus, etc.

  2. Please close AMTListen and replace the AMTListen.exe. Try running it again.

  3. Check under Windows Task Manager which processes is using memory.
Try to close some processes and the run AMTListen again.

  4. Check if you have access to write to the temp folder:
In Windows command prompt enter 'set', it will list the environment
variables and next to it the file location. Check next to 'temp'.
Try and create a file in this temp location.

  5. You need read and write access to the database file you want to extract.
You can try to rename the file (add for example 1 to the end of the file name),
now try to rename it back to the original file name. If you cannot do this
then you do not have the required access

Under investigation!
