Mitel Phone error message: connection locked

I am using AMETHYST with CRE recording. I added an extension to be recorded. When I configure my phone to point to the SRC, it gives an error message connection locked on the phone display.

  • First test is to check that the phone is working. Point the phone to the Mitel Controller instead of the SRC and make a test call. You must be able to make a successful phone call, if not then this is the problem. Please contact your Mitel support.

  • If the test call is successfull, configure the phone to point to the SRC again. Log into the Mitel MSL and check that the extension shows connected.

    MSL: How do I check if a device is connected?

    It must not list the extension in duplicate(duplicate mac address).
    If on the list, please check that it is activated.
