How do I enable ftp of Remote VoIP recorder?

You have 2 options:
  1. Use the ftp schedule of the Remote AMETHYST server or
  2. enable the live ftp for VoIP sweeper

NOTE: The Remote AMETHYST server provides the recordings with an ID prefixed to extensions and usernames If you disable the Remote Server your recordings will not have this information. If you do not need a prefix (extension number range does not overlap) or user names, you can stop the service.

  1. Remote AMETHYST server:

    Refer to forum post: How do I schedule ftp for my Remote AMETHYST?

  2. VoIP Sweeper:

    • Disable the live ftp option in Remote AMETHYST server. If you do not need Remote AMETHYST server then you can stop the service and put it into manual mode.
    • These steps will not influence recordings taking place:
      • Stop the VoIPSweeper service.
      • Change the FTPSERVER entry in the VoIPRecorder INI file to be the Amethyst server IP.
      • Save the file.
      • Start the VoIPSweeper.
