AMTCards log: No buffer space available

Postby Belinda Frick » Mon Apr 29, 2013 10:01 am

In my amtcards log I have the following entry " Socket Error # 10055 No buffer space available." repeating:

Code: Select all
[2013-04-29 00:06:17.908] Version [1.6.4.2] Error in FTPThread: EIdSocketError error uploading 000_07DD2571B307C.zlb to 10.0.1.180: Socket Error # 10055
No buffer space available.
[2013-04-29 00:16:27.439] Version [1.6.4.2] Error in FTPThread: EIdSocketError error uploading 000_07DD2571B307C.zlb to 10.0.1.180: Socket Error # 10055
No buffer space available.

In the complete folder on the Cardserver I can see my recordings since last updated to AMETHYST. I compared the date modified of the zlb files in the folder 'C:\Program Files\datatex\amethyst\complete' to the last recording date in AMETHYST webadmin for recorded extensions under 'Configured Recorded Devices'.

Recordings are taking place, but I can't search for them in Supervisor due to it not updating from the Cardserver to AMETHYST.

When I do a manual ftp from the Cardserver, I get the following error:
amt-amtcards-ftp-no_buffer_space.jpg

This has been noted with a Windows SIP recorder also.

All Datatex software was stopped and still it did not start to free ports.
After restart of the server the ports were freed.
This could be a Windows operating system issue or we think that it its the Remote AMETHYST server that keeps opening a port for ftp of recordings to AMETHYST and goes into this state.

This has been noted with VoIPRecord 1.6.5.
I restarted all but the recording software.

Manual FTP to the local server also gave the error no buffer space available.

The server was restarted to resolve it.
