- AMETHYST:
Shutting the server down before moving:- With the AMTMitelCRE recording solution the AMTMitel(for call details) and AMTMitelCRE(for recording) usually run on the MSL server (Mitel).
Shutdown the MSL server via the MSL interface – refer to forum post-
Mitel: How do I shutdown the MSL?
NOTE: While the MSL server is down, AMETHYST will send critical e-mails to IT and events to MyAccount (if you are a Datatex SLA client):
- for AMTMitelCRE - refer to topic:
Critical mail: no communication with the cardserver / CRE
- for AMTMitel - refer to topic:
Critical mail: AMTMITEL LOST COMMUNICATION/RE-ESTABLISHED - If AMTMitelCRE and AMTMitel is running on a different server than the MSL, Datatex will need to login in and shutdown the our CRE server.
Datatex office hours are Mon - Thu: 08h30-17h00 and Fri 08h00 - 16h00.
- Reconnect the server(s) and power it up.

- Play the recording back.
- Both sides of the conversation must be audible.
- NOTE:

The extension and trunk ranges must be configured as monitored devices, else AMTMitel will not receive the required events for call details - AMTMitelCRE:
If you are using the 1.6.4 version with auto update of devices from the MSL to AMETHYST, then you simply configure the extension to be recorded on the MSL and it will auto update to AMETHYST(within number of agent licenses) - refer to topic:
AMETHYST 1.6.4 and AMTMitelCRE auto update MSL extensions
