Mitel: User names are incorrect

AMETHYST receives the user names from the Mitel side via AMTMitel.

  • Please check that your user names are configured correct on the Mitel side - refer to forum post:
    I use a Mitel and I don't get usernames next to recordings.

    NOTE: If you use ACD groups,
    the user name(s) must be updated in the Mitel Phone Book and ACD groups - see forum post.

  • AMTMitel must be configured to monitor the recorded devices (extensions and trunk/lines). This is configured in AMTMitel - please refer to forum post:
    AMETHYST Webadmin and AMTMitel

    NOTE: If Skill groups are used, they provide the user names.
    If any updates done to Skill groups,
    please provide skill group numbers per controller to add to AMTMitel configuration.

  • To ensure only the user names received by AMTMitel is in use, please check that 'Configure Virtual Extensions' has no extensions listed next to user names.

  • If you have no user name configured for an extension on the Mitel side and you use AMTCient, AMETHYST will use the Windows login of the user on which PC AMTClient is running as the user name. You can see the list in AMETHYST Webadmin under 'Configure CTI Devices'.
