Postby Belinda Frick » Wed Nov 17, 2010 11:39 am

Requirements:

PABX3 3.3.3.5 or newer, with required plugin for your pabx unit.
SMDRLink 1.0.0.17 or newer, with PTopazPipe.so plugin
Procedure:

The PABX:
Decide on a location that the PABX must write out the rawdata.

PABX3:
Setup PABX3 to read in the rawdata input file.
ALSO SEE: Setting up file input on the pabx3

Tick OPTIONS -> COMMUNICATIONS:
tick the "OffLine" setting.
Tick OPTIONS -> INPUT FILE:
tick the "Live Update" setting.
change the interval to for example 2 seconds.
If the data is read in by PABX3, it will be displayed on the grey
call data screen in PABX3. Only proceed if you can see call data in PABX3.

Please note:
No rawdata file is created.
The pabx.pip file will not be created as specified in
PABX3 -> OPTIONS -> FILE PATHS, PIPE FILE,
by default in "C:\Program Files\Datatex\pabx3\pabx.pip".
Setup PABX3 to send call data to SMDRLink
ALSO SEE: How do I set up pabx3 to send call records to smdrlink?

SMDRLink:
To check if SMDRLink is receiving the call data,
SEE: SMDRLink: How do I see my call data?
Windows/The Network/Access:
Make sure that PABX3 and SMDRLink can communicate.
