CRITICAL ERROR: "File not Open" from the AMTMITELCRE

Postby Leon van Heerden » Wed Jun 29, 2016 8:08 am

This error is only reported on version 1.7.1.6 or newer.

Code: Select all
2016-06-20 11:07:26 2016-06-20 11:07:26 #2300145 THE PACKET PROCESS THREAD EXECUTE ON CRE SERVER AMETHYST RAISED AN EXCEPTION: FILE NOT OPEN

It is generated if a call has stopped and the MBG has given the close stream instruction and there is still packets arriving for the recording. The Files that the recording is written too, is already closed and the packets can't be written to the file. It is usually only a couple of packets from the one side of the recording. It can be a maximum of 10 seconds worth of audio.

Please check the recording before and after this recording and check the sweeper logs to see if there were errors for the 30 seconds around this time.

This issue has been found when a short call takes places.

In the example below the CRE stated a 3 second call was taking place.

Code: Select all
2016-07-23 22:54:50.798 [1.7.1.6] Recorded(DT2)=> EXT:2074,USER:JOHN ,LINE:0,NUMBER:9000,DURATION:00:00:03,DIRECTION:,PHYSEXT:2074,REF:(A160723-000312.ZLB)

The voipsweeper states that the audio streams were empty.
Code: Select all
2016-07-23 22:55:00.100 [1.6.5.20] Error in TRTPConvert.ConvertToPCM(/opt/datatex/amtmitelcre/work/A160723-000312).CanClearFiles.DTA: All RTP files are empty EXT:2074,USER:JOHN,LINE:0,NUMBER:9000,DURATION:00:00:03,DIRECTION:OUTGOING,PHYSEXT:2074,REF:(A160723-000312.ZLB)

Please verify that recordings are taking place after this.
