AMTMitelCRE: Supervisor cannot find recording

  1. Check if extensions licensed for recording

    • First check on the AMETHYST List of recorded Devices if listed:

      • AMETHYST 1: Device List
        NOTE: You can add any extension on the list, where setup for recording or not - you still need to check if recording setup, etc.

      • AMETHYST 2: Extension Mapping
        NOTE: Only extensions that has had a recording will be listed. You then need to configure it as RECORDED to use a license and load into AMETHYST.
    • Check if licenses required.
      • AMETHYST 1:Options are to either remove a devices from recording to free a license or
        to purchase an additional AMETHYST agent license.
      • AMETHYST 2: To use a license set to RECORD, to free license set to DO NOT RECORD.
        NOTE: If a license(s) are available, it will be auto added to MAPPING list and to Status RECORD.
    • Check if configured in recording software:

      First confirm recording version as configuration is different:

      • 1.6.4.+ : If phone configured on MBG for recording, it will auto update to recording software and AMETHYST Device List.
      • 1.6.5.+ : If phone configured on MBG for recording, it will record - but
        you need to manually add it to the AMETHYST Device List.
      • 1.7.+ :
        You need to manually:

    • Phone must be in CONNECTED status on MBG.

      To confirm the MBG IP, log into Webadmin and select Configure Recording software.
      Click on CONFIGURE for your CRE recorder and check the SCR IP:

      Now log onto MBG to check if extension listed and in connected status:

      NOTE: in this example 3637 is not listed.

      Mitel PABX support must point the physical phone's ICP address to the MBG if not listed on in NOT CONNECTED status.
      NOTE: MBG has licensing for MiNet and/or SIP devices - if required Mitel Dealer must assist.

    • Supervisor access:

      • Up to 1.6.5.3: Each supervisor has access to list of user names.
      • 1.7.+ : Each supervisor has access to group. Group exist of list of user names.
      Make sure the user name tied to the recording is the same user name used to search for and the Supervisor has access to that user name.
