Some Mitels are setup to pull the user name from Active Directory (for example BCX Corporate Network).
Active Directory is configured with agent code and populates the user details to the Mitel.

QUESTION: Will this influence AMTMitel receiving the correct user name.

AMTMitel requires user name in Mitel Phone book and if ACD groups are used, it must be configured with a user name - refer to forum post :

I use a Mitel and I don't get usernames next to recordings.

AmtMitel uses exclusively the name that is linked to the extension.

If the name is changed at any given time (whether manually or by the Active Director), the values that is linked to the extension in Mitel is what Amtmitel will use on the recordings.
