How do I get error messages from Linux for AMETHYST 1.5?

Required:

AMETHYST 1.5 has the critical error messages facility. To receive these messages you need to
setup your e-mail or the SMSManager. ALSO SEE: Critical SMS facility in Amethyst 1.5

Overview:

With AMETHYST 1.5 you do not have access to the Linux Messages file. The critical error messages
will inform you about these errors.

The error is also logged to the Admin log file. ALSO SEE: How do I view the log files?

On start up you might get errors about the archived drive or a USB drive (if in use), if it does
not re-occur it is not a problem. Once AMETHYST 1.5 is started up, the system drive will be checked
every 15 minutes. If errors occur it will send a critical error message as setup and log the entry
in the admin log file.
