How do I add CRE extensions to recording in AMETHYST2?

OVERVIEW:

In AMETHYST2 you set the devices to be recorded to RECORD status in AMETHYST Webadmin
on the MAPPING screen.

You cannot add the device, it will auto update to the MAPPING screen once the first recording is made.
If enough devices available it will set it to RECORD status else stay on default, which is DO NOT RECORD.

On the MAPPING Screen it will show the number of licenses and Licenses used, for example:

RECORDING:

  • Recording options per version of AMTMitelCRE recording software:
    • AMTMitelCRE 1.7+
The list of extensions to be recorded must be configured.
    • AMTMitelCRE 2+
      There are 2 options:
      • The list of extensions to be recorded must be configured.
      • All extensions pointed to the MBG can be recorded.
Maintenance of which devices is using licenses are configured on the MAPPING screen
NOTE: If the ration between recorded and not recorded devices are huge, then you could have space/resource issue.
  • Requirements to add extensions to recording:
    • Client to please point the phone's ICP address to that of the MBG.
NOTE: Only phone's pointed to the MBG can be recorded - Mitel licensing requirement for recording.
    • Provide Datatex with the extension list - depending on your version of CRE and options.
They will configure the CRE recording software accordingly.
Once the first test call is made, the device can be set to RECORD status.
NOTE: Only recordings for devices in RECORD status will be loaded - AMETHYST licensing.
  • Check that extension is in RECORD status on MAPPING screen.
Log into Webadmin and select MAPPING from HOME page.
Enter extension under WITH DEVICES, STATUS by default is set to display all and click on PREVIEW.
If no extension list, then there is an issue with recording.
If the extension lists, ensure STATUS is set to RECORD.

  • Playback recording in Supervisor to ensure it is audible.
NOTE: If recording not found, ensure the supervisor has access to the user name.
The user name must be allocated to a Supervisor group and the supervisor must have access to that group.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
