Postby Belinda Frick » Wed Nov 17, 2010 3:06 pm

Overview:

The mixing feature can be set to raise the quality of the recording by boosting the microphone and
speaker levels. See explanation of each sound mixing type below.

Sound mixing settings:

These settings is available from the WebAdmin. Select 'Configure USBClient'.
Under the 'Sound mixing settings' section:

  • Linear mixing:

Linear mixing is a standard type of mixing that maintains a constant level on which the microphone
    and speaker can operate.

  • Adaptive mixing:

This mixing type automatically adjusts the speaker and microphone levels, to improve the quality of
    a call.

  • Mono mixing with 6DB boost:

Operates in the same way as Linear mixing and boosts the overall sound by 6 decibels as well.

  • Linear Mixing with 6DB boost on mic:

Functions in the same way as Linear mixing, also boosting the microphone levels by 6 decibels.

  • Linear Mixing with 6DB boost on speaker:

Increases the speaker level by 6 decibels and uses Linear mixing.
