Please refer to this document for more details

Each Windows login must be configured under 'Configure CTI device'.

If AMTClient is installed on a central location, you need to have
the AMTClient in the All Users startup and each user must have access
to the following:
users folder in C:\Program Files\Datatex\amtclient\,
namely create/read/write access
ports.dat file in the folder C:\Program Files\Datatex\amtclient
namely read/write access

Note: When XP Professional is used then only 10 'connections' is allowed
at a time to this share. Therefor to install it on the network file server
will be a better option.

If AMTClient is installed on each workstation, you can still put
AMTClient shortcut in All users, just ensure that all users has access
on each PC to:
users folder in C:\Program Files\Datatex\amtclient\,
namely create/read/write access
ports.dat file in the folder C:\Program Files\Datatex\amtclient
namely read/write access
