SUPPORT NOTIFICATION: AMETHYST cardserver: general issues

The AMETHYST cardserver is a Windows PC on your network and therefore
open to all issues as any other Windows PC on your network.

The AMETHYST cardserver is responisible for making recordings and this
must never be interrupted.

To ensure that recordings is not interrupted:

Take the normal anti-virus precautions as with any Windows PC
on your network.

Please see SSL,
File extensions that are used by an Amethyst Installation.,
for list of files used with AMETHYST.

Do not run a full scan during operating hours.

Do not schedule Windows updates during operating hours. When the PC is
auto restarted it will cut recordings and only resume recording once the
PC is up.

Windows updates can be done manually at time when recordings is not taking
place.

If remote maintenance is in place, make sure Access Restriction Policies
does not prevent the required access.
