A SETTINGS tab is situated at the top of ONYX.
Click on it. At the bottom left corner is a
"Screenshots" section. There are two options:
Every X seconds
If you tick this option you ONYX automatically
takes screenshots of your screen. Thus you do not
need to to click on a button. A screenshot will be
taken at the beginning of the recording and then
every X seconds thereafter. (You can specify the
time yourself.)
Only on button click
By ticking this option screenshots will never be
taken unless you tell ONYX to. The "Take Screenshot"
button can be clicked by right-clicking on the ONYX
telephone icon on your toolbar. A screenshot will
now be taken. You can only click on this button if
you are busy with a recording. If you are not busy
recording the button will be greyed out.
REMEMBER TO CLICK ON THE "SAVE SETTINGS" BUTTON
AFTER CHANGING TO ANOTHER OPTION.
After the recording you can go back and view these
screenshots. If you don't know how to retrieve the
recording - SEE: SEARCHING FOR AN ONYX RECORDING
After the retrieval of your recording you will
notice two buttons on the recording form:
Email
Screenshots
If the "Screenshots" button is greyed out it means that
no screenshots were take during the recording. If it is
not greyed out, click on it. A new form will open with
samples on the left hand side of the screenshots taken.
To view the screenshot: Simply click on the
sample picture. If you untick the "STRETCH" tick box
at the bottom right you will see the screen shot in its
normal width and length.
At the bottom of the page it says "Time Stamp". The
time next to it is the duration of the call when the
screenshot was taken.
