Can I listen to my ONYX recording on another PC?

Overview:

ONYX is a standalone voice recorder.

How do I listen to a recording on another PC:

Media Player:

If you e-mail a recording from your PC, you can use
Media Player to listen to it on another PC.
How do I play my recording on another PC if I do not have e-mail to send it?

ONYX:

When using ONYX to make recordings, you need ONYX to listen to
the recording.

Therefore if you listen to the recordings anywhere other than
on your PC, you need a second ONYX and the recording tap, to
do so. Without the tap you will not be able to use the ONYX
installation.

To play a recording ONYX uses the recordings in the DATA folder.
ONYX needs the ListingFile.lst of that folder to access the
recordings. The ListingFile.lst is specific to it own DATA folder.

To listen to your recordings on another PC, you need the entire
DATA folder. In ONYX you have the option to change the default
file path of the "Recording Path", which is
"C:\Program Files\Datatex\Onyx\Data\".

If you copy your DATA folder to the PC you want to listen on,
rename it to for example DATA1, else it will over write your
ONYX recordings.
In ONYX -> Settings, under the PATHS section, change the
recording path to, in this example, "C:\Program Files\Datatex\Onyx\Data1\".
Now you can access the recordings that you copied onto the
PC. While now using this file path (DATA1 folder) to listen to
recordings, all recordings made will also be saved in the DATA1
folder.
Once done with the listening process, please change back the
"Recording Path", so that your ONYX can function as setup previously.
