How do I correct the time on the AMETHYST server?

Postby Odette Danster » Tue Jan 11, 2011 3:26 pm

Since the Amethyst Servers up to now doesn't support NTP configuration through the webinterface, these scripts allow you to set the time.

You need to load the script outside recording hours, for example the recording software calculates the duration of the recording, if you load the script to set the time the duration will be incorrect. With AMTMitel for call details, it can also influence the time of the call and duration, etc.

Please contact our Support team (support@datatex.co.za or 086 111 4351) to obtain a script to correct the time on the AMETHYST server.

Steps to load the script on AMETHYST:

AMETHYST 1.6:

1. Log into AMETHYST Administrator,
2. In the "System" section,
3. Click on the "Upgrade" link,
4. Browse to the upgrade file,

5. Click on "Upload Script".
6. Click on the 'UPGRADE' button:

AMETHYST 1.5:

1. Log into AMETHYST Administrator,
2. Click on the "Server Settings" icon,
3. Select "Upgrade via Web",
4. Browse to the upgrade file,
5. Click on "Upload Script".

Please Note: The time script must be loaded at the exact time (e.g. 10am), as it will set the time on the server to that specific time.
Loading the script at the wrong time will cause the Amethyst to have the wrong time until the script can be executed again.
