RELEASE NOTES: How do I check if my update was done and that it has the new versions?

Overview:

The update on the internet under the member area for AMETHYST, for
example 'amt-1_5_server-update-1_5_2_1.amt', includes all of the
latest AMETHYST versions. If for example the release only contains
the AMTListen version update, only the version of that application
will change. However, for example the server and supervisor is also
uploaded and therefore if you were already on that server and supervisor
version, their version numbers stays as is.

In the update name 'amt-1_5_server-update-1_5_2_1.amt', the '-update-1_5_2_1'
refers to the internet update version. Please check release notes for
version number of the individual application.

This update method will ensure that each time one applications is
released the system will be updated to all the latest versions of AMETHYST.

How do I check if the update was uploaded?:

The upload steps will be listed in the AMETHYST Admin log.

Select the 'View logs' link from the 'AMETHYST Home Page',

then the 'Admin log' link and click on 'today'

How do I check if the new release version was updated?:

When a new version is released all maillist subscribers is notified
via e-mail. This e-mail will notify you which AMETHYST application
was upgraded. Only the version number of this application will change.

Please note that applications that is only available on request
from Datatex does not have release notes.
