Stop the TNG service.
Check the COMPORT number for the USB buffer under Device Manager.
Connect to the COMPORT using Hyper Terminal.
Type the command 'SYS' to see if you can connect to it. It will respond with all the buffer settings.
To reset the buffer, type 'CLEAR'. NOTE: It will clear the memory and reset the buffer.
Now type 'SYS' again. Make sure 'auto dump' is disabled.
You can close Hyper Terminal.
Start the TNG service.
The buffer must now be detected when logged into TNG.
