With trunk side recording, AMETHYST will record all extension that make/receive calls using the trunk/lines tapped to be recorded. We use the trunk/line of the recording made to tie it to call details received from the PABX. With Mitel PABX we use AMTMitel. It will provide the trunk/line and we will add the extension and user name to the recording. The extension and user name we receive from the Mitel PABX as per Mitel Phone book configuration.
Please check the following:
- Mitel configuration for user name and extension number:
- If the user name is wrong, you need to modify it in the Mitel phone book.
- If the extension number is wrong, it can be one of the following:
- If the 2 physical phones was swopped and the extension numbers/user name was not programmed according to the swop.
- The wrong extension was programmed on the users phone and linked to the wrong user name.

- When AMTMitel is started up the extension must load without any error messages. NOTE if you stop/start AMTMitel you will not have call details (for example with TRUNK side recording all extension numbers will show EXT, this could cause recordings to be rejected due to licensing).
- Use the latest version of AMTMitel - refer to forum post for release notes.
