Why is my rawdata not logging to file?

PABX3 is able to log all data received via the comport/network to the rawdata file even if the plugin does not translate the rawdata correct or are able to read it.

The following will influence the logging of raw data:

  • Log rawdata must be enabled.

    In PABX3 select TOOLS.
To enable logging of rawdata there must be a tick next to 'Create Rawdata'.
Once enabled the tick will be displayed.

If not click on 'Create Rawdata' to enable.

  • To write out the raw data received, PABX3 needs the correct end of line character (EOL) to be configured:

PABX3 -> OPTIONS -> COMMUNICATIONS, EolChar under 'TOPAZ Buffer Protocol'.

If this EOLChar is not received it will continue to collect data until the EOLChar is received. Therefore if the wrong EOL Char is configured it will never write out the rawdata.
