Panasonic TEA308: not all my calls are loaded in TNG

Postby Belinda Frick » Thu Mar 15, 2012 9:20 am

We need to see the call details TNG receives and why it does not translate all call data.

Enable logging of rawdata, see forum post:
How do I enable logging of rawdata?

Example of rawdata:

Code: Select all

The format of the rawdata is thus not the standard. You need to check why this is happening. If you disconnect the serial cable from the buffer and connect it straight to a PC, use putty to log rawdata and see if still scrambled. If the TNG PC does not have a serial port, use another PC for example a laptop or a USB2Serial converter.

See forum post : How do I enable logging of data in Putty?. You can download putty from the internet.

  1. If rawdata still scrambled, the problem is between the PABX and the PC. Check the following posts:
    What causes scrambled data?
What are the pinlayouts for the Panasonic KX-TEA308?
  2. If not scrambled, the problem is between the buffer and the PC. Try the following post:
