I cannot log into my TNG - Login Failed: Please retype...

I cannot log into TNG. The following error message is displayed:
Login failed. Please retype your details carefully.

Overview:

    TNG has a default login and password for 'admin'.

    You can login with 'admin' and then create logins for department heads, see forum post:
    How do I add/configure department heads in TNG?

    NOTE: The password for the logins can be changed(including 'admin), depending on your access level.

How do I change the password for a login:


You can use the 'admin' login and then change the department head login(s). If you cannot remember your password, you will need to request a day password from Datatex. We will require the TNG serial number(displayed in the bottom section of the page) and the login you want to change.

The password we provide will only work for the day it was created on. You need to login and then create your own password for future use.
