The Check Available Diskspace output does not show all the normal information, it looks like there could be a problem with the file system. Typically it should list under the 'Available Disk Space' section all the drives, which in your case should also include /dev/ssd.

There is an example of an 'Available Disk Space' in the forum post for your critical e-mail - see critical mail: ...kernel: ...I/O error, dev sdd

I will ask the Sales side to send you a quote for remote maintenance to log in and investigate.

Amethyst IO Errors

Postby Leon van Heerden » Mon Jun 25, 2012 5:03 pm

I have checked the server and it looked like the Virtual Server could no longer see the USB devices. After the drive was restarted, i could mount the drive normally and check the disk space.

For safety I did a filesystem check on the USB Archive drive. One error was fixed.
The drive could be connected to a Windows PC and a normal
Code: Select all
chkdsk /f
could be run on the drive to ensure that there is no errors.

After the check I ran a manual Archive and it looks like it is going through now.
I will check up again on the server to ensure that everything is working properly here after.
