Please check if this problem occurs on all the extensions or just some?

The PC/PC's where you experience this problem, which operating system is installed?

Which version of USBClient is running on this PC?

Ensure that the correct sound settings is selected for USBClient (please click on link below):

This could also be caused by a virus. Please install anti-virus software (if not already installed), check for spyware, etc. Please see forum post below:

current version's on all machine's with Amethyst is v1.6.1.2
all machine are running Panda Endpoint protection
current version OS is windows XP build 2600 service pack 3 full updated

Hi,
The recordings sounds like it is not being written to the hard drive fast enough.

When did this problem start, because it has not always been like this.
Has any new software or policies been implemented that could cause issues with writing to the hard drive?

Things like Antivirus that scan for disk writes in the "Program Files" and "Users" folder could cause this.
Try and exclude the Amethyst folder as well as the "C:\Document and Settings\" (On XP)

Don't you have this problem on PCs that are not running XP?

Sorry for the late reply had to wait on the old recordings.

The first time error was recorded, was on the 30 April 2012.
Yes, we did change from a dos based system to a web based system on the 22 april 2012
so we have to use google chrome to access the data-base.

I have also checked the event viewer there are no HD write error or delays recorded.
I have disable the Antivirus too, so I uninstalled it on one of the problematic machine
but the error still occured (tested over a week period) and yes, the error only occurs on windows XP machine's.

Could it maybe be related to windows updates or other software listed below:

(current software on the XP machine: adobe, google chrome, Openoffice, swift and outlook express)?

Regards
Jarret
