TNG will use the call details received from the PABX and display them in TNG.

To explain: Here is an example of the XN120 rawdata provided:
Code: Select all
CLASS  TIME DATE  LINE DURATION  STATION   DIALLED No./CLI  RD/COST ACCOUNT

11 POTW  08:44 10/03 001  00:02:18 204        0215933252             0 W/024
12 POTW  08:47 10/03 001  00:01:50 204        0746230988             0 W/024
13 POTW  09:43 10/03 001  00:02:19 204        0313363333             0 W/024

NOTE: The column heading 'DURATION' is where the call duration is stored. We simply use this figure on the reporting.

Herewith investigation of the 2 examples with long call duration:

    TNG Report:
    Code: Select all
    2012-10-03 08:37:00    203      27215933253    BARRACK STREET - (ZA)          O_UNKNOWN         99:59:59    R1950.05

Duration 99:59:59 is about 100 hours, which is 4.167 days(100/24hours).
NOTE: To check the rawdata we need the dates 20120930 or 20121007, as the call could have started 4 days before or after the date reflected on the report - this depends on if the PABX sends of the start time or end time of the call.

    TNG Report:
    Code: Select all
    2012-09-14 12:11:00    203      27727662971    ADDITIONAL VODACOM C - (ZA)          O_UNKNOWN         72:32:38    R5722.84

Duration 72:32:38 is about 4 352.63 minutes, which is 3.023 days.
NOTE: To check the rawdata we need the dates 20120917 or 20120911, as the call could have started 4 days before or after the date reflected on the report - this depends on if the PABX sends of the start time or end time of the call.

The call for 2012-10-03 with the 99 hours duration is in the rawdata for 2012-10-08,
see rawdata entries below:

Code: Select all
                                                            10/08/2012 PAGE 807
CLASS  TIME DATE  LINE DURATION  STATION   DIALLED No./CLI  RD/COST ACCOUNT
23 PIN   09:09 10/08 001  00:00:22 200        0214262740       0:20
24 POTW  08:37 10/03 002  99:59:59 203        0215933253             0 W/024
25 POTW  09:14 10/08 002  00:00:12 200        0835041107             0 W/025

The PABX send this off as call details. TNG does not calculate durations, it simply uses what the PABX sent off and displays it in report format.
