Please refer to forum post below:

High memory usage with TNG and Asterisk on Linux box

Kindly provide the requested information for further investigation.

We suggest that you lower the percentage of available memory to reserve to about 10% and reduce the flush to harddrive to 150 seconds or less.

TNG will keep fewer records in 'live memory' and will not have to write large amounts of accumulated data to the harddrive at one time.

Please let us know what actions you take to reduce CPU usage (e.g. do you stop the TNG deamon, etc).

I have made changes as requested and keep you informed!
Yes I do stop the TNG PID to reduce CPU Usage.

I am not getting anywhere with this.

I have two options here;
1. Use another program like Man3000, which I don't mind, but I love the reporting of TNG.
2. Install TNG Windows version on a IIS server and use the resources of the IIS server instead of the PBX resources.

and I have made up my mind, I am going to use the TNG Windows version.

Dear Wouter

Please note that we no longer have a TNG for Asterisk Windows option - refer to forum post:
NOTICE: TNG for Asterisk Windows

I would suggest using the latest version of TNG (1.1.1.11) with the CSV file input option(see above link for latest versions download and suggested setup).

For suggestions to reduce CPU usage see forum post:
Re: TNG4* Custom CSV is correct format but not logging calls

If you want to install it on another Linux PC, you need access to the AMI and the Master.CSV file. To prevent access related issues we normally suggest installing it on the same PC.

For Linux install or update download for TNG for Asterisk (Linux) refer to '3. Linux TNGLive' in the forum post: last TNG releases for 2012
