3 July problem was being discussed internally, it's now the 10 July and still no answer, no reply to mail sent to Belinda. This client will not pay us for the installation of PABX as well as TNG until this is sorted out, Datatex has been paid so we are sitting out of pocket.
Please could we give this some urgent attention.

The client is complaining that it is billing incorrectly? I have just been to look at the system and it is all billing 0 cost again.

Thanks

Frank

Below is what the client requested!
Local = 29 cents
National = 45 cents
Cell C = R1.11
Vodacom / MTN = 96 cents
Telkom R1.17

Please check if the system subscription still shows as up to date.

The previous time the costing was zero it was because the custom rates was updated after the expiry date and because of the older version of the 'custom.so' file.

I looked at the steps in your earlier posts and the 'custom.so' was only copied to the rates folder to be renamed for the current custom ratebook update. If you created a new custom rate book it will use the 'custom.so' file in the custom folder.

Please also copy the 'custom.so' file to the custom folder. This will ensure the issue does not repeat if new custom rate books are configured.

For latest version of 'custom.so' file and install steps please see forum post:

Yes the license is still valid till 2014

Leon sorted out this issue by logging in to the client, and as far as I understood it had nothing to do with the file mentioned in your reply.

I am not going to mess with what Leon has done, so please get him to log in again and see what is going on, this client refuses to pay us for the installation. We are sitting seriously out of pocket here!! Client has asked us to remove TNG and load Man 3000 which he was told is also approved on COMX and this put us both in a bad light as this is one of our,( and yours, still with Topaz running) long standing clients. What do I do here :?

Please can we just skip all the back and forth on this form and get the problem re-solved!

Thanks

Please make sure you are using the custom file as per post:
Re: after upgrade Custom rates cost at zero
NOTE: You must replace the custom file in the 'custombase' folder with this version and copy it to the rates folder. Then you can rename your custom file in the rates folder as explained.

If it still does not cost, please check that the calls in question does not have call outcome of INTERNAL. The best report to see this on the the Transaction Detail report. Internal calls will not cost.

Required for a call to cost see forum post:
Why is my outgoing calls costed at zero?

Frank,

Does none of the calls using the custom ratebook cost or just some?
Are you also using the another ratebook, if so is it costing correct? Is it also a custom ratebook or ratebook as part of the TNG install/upgrade?

I need to know if it is a custom ratebook issue or for all rates.

Please pull a report for the calls not costing. Use the Transaction detail report and check the Call Outcome and the trunk column. TNG will not cost any INTERNAL calls.

Thanks
