I cannot see any errors in the TNG log file.

It could be a corrupt Exchange file. The exchange file must be re-created to fix it then.
How do I re-create the TNG Exchange file?

There will be a couple of files with the name 'exchange' and different file extensions.
You must only rename the 'exchange.dat'.
To rename the file you must stop the tng deamon first.

Double-check that step.

Before you restart the TNG deamon, rename the tng.log file for the day.
If you then start the TNG deamon and it does not create the 'exchange.dat', please check in the tng.log file for any errors regarding the exchange file.

My apologies - it's Linux, make a backup of the 'exchange.so' file and then rename it as per instruction.
A new 'exchange.so' file must then be created.

In the folder '/opt/datatex/tng', the following files must be present on Linux:
    exchange.txt
    exchange.so
    exchange.dat

If you stop the tng deamon, rename the 'exchange.dat' file and start the tng deamon - 'exchange.dat' will be recreated,
but only if the following files are present:
    exchange.txt
    exchange.so
These 2 files are needed to create the 'exchange.dat' file.

Please check that these two files are present.

The log file you attached showed it could not find the 'exchange.txt' file:
Code: Select all
2013-10-01 13:30:20:060 [1.1.1.11] - Error with MD5 : Cannot open file "/opt/datatex/tng/exchange.dat". No such file or directory
2013-10-01 13:30:20:060 [1.1.1.11] - Exchange Library      : exchange.dat Changed!!
2013-10-01 13:30:20:061 [1.1.1.11] - Exchange Library      : Recreating Library [ver 2011.08.01.02] for source number 27343149800
2013-10-01 13:30:20:061 [1.1.1.11] - Exchange Library      : Exchange master file missing.
2013-10-01 13:30:20:061 [1.1.1.11] - Exchange Library      : Recreating Failed!
2013-10-01 13:30:20:061 [1.1.1.11] - /opt/datatex/tng/exchange.dat does not Exist!!!

I have attached it for you. Please unrar and place in the '/opt/datatex/tng' folder.
exchange-tnglive_1_1_1_11.rar
Note this file will only work for TNG version 1.1.1.11.

If you renamed the 'exchange.so' file, please place the original back.

Now you can follow the steps to re-create the exchange files - refer to forum post:

Have you managed to re-create the 'exchange.dat' file as per instructions in previous post?

Do you need any further assistance?
