Is your buffer being detected?
If not, you first need to resolve this issue.

If your buffer is detected? Then set log raw data to permanent and see if it logs any data to raw.txt. If no data logged, then stop TNG service and connect to the buffer with hyperterminal/putty or PABX3 to see if you can communicate with the buffer.

For more details refer to forum post: My TNG buffer is not being detected

If you are at the client you are welcome to give the call centre a call to assist you.

Hi, my buffer is being detected but the problem is it is notshowing data. I did go into hyperterminal and typed in "s" which shows some data butnot all the time. What I was askingis that is there any configuration I can do on the buffer to eneble it to show data.

If it shows data when connected to the buffer, but not all then the issue can also be the cable or the PABX.

Connect the same serial cable from the PABX direct to a comport or USB to serial converter on a PC. Check if you then get all the call records. If not all the call details, then the issue is not the Buffer.

You need to check if the PABX has comport errors or issues, it can also be that there are interferrence on the cable, etc.
