NS1000 LAN SMDR Output

Postby juanm » Wed Nov 13, 2013 2:48 pm

Good day Team

On the NS1000 i can set the LAN port to be the SMDR output however there is a SMDR Password from my system.
When i set up the TNG software i use the Network option and i point the software to the IP Adress of my NS1000 plus i made sure the port number is the same on both the software and the NS1000.
After all this i am not getting any data from the NS1000 onto your call list. I know that network is setup correctly because i can ping the IP. I tried using hyperterminal to do a trace but i could not connect. I received an error on hyperterminal and i suspect it is because there is a SMDR password request from the software needed and i think it is the same case with your datatex software. Please can you assist me with this.

Regards

  1. For which brand PABX is this model NS1000?
I am not fimiliar with it and you will need a plugin to translate the call data.

  2. If you only enter a password to gain access to the SMDR data, you can enter it under 'Authentication Information':

    tng-network_connection-authenticate.jpg

NOTE: The Network options is for TCP connection (connect to IP and port on PABX).

  3. If you need to enter some authentification string to connect, you will need to use for example putty to connect to see if you can get a login and what the required string is.

If this is successful, you can then try the latest version of TNG, version 1.1.1.12 - for release notes see changes for TNG 1.1.1.12 Install in forum post: TNG Update 1.1.1.12

To see example of a PABX that uses this new feature, refer to forum post:
    Mitel 5000 and TNG

Thank you Belinda for the feedback. The system is the Panasonic NS1000. It is the newest IP PBX from Panasonic. What would you need to be able to create a plugin from our side?

To receive call details for the new IP PBX from Panasonic- Panasonic NS1000:

  1. First step would to get rawdata from the PABX.

If you cannot get rawdata using TNG, PABX3 or putty then additional development might be required to received call details. We will need documentation regarding accessing the call details from the PABX and might also need access to a PABX.

  2. Once we have the rawdata, we can see if a new plugin is needed or if the output is the same as the TDA/TES824, etc.

If a plugin is required, this is the information needed:
Request: What information is required to write a plugin?

Dear Juan

Did you manage to log rawdata from the Panasonic NS1000 PABX when using the authentication option in TNG?

The Panasonic NS1000 system requires that you connect to the IP and port, enter 'password' and then prompts you for the password.

Thanks

Belinda
