TNG and Samsung 7100

Postby Belinda Frick » Mon Nov 15, 2010 2:05 pm

Configuration

Select -> 829[MMC]
Select -> Item 04 -> PC
Enter -> IP address and Port of the PABX [Default Port - 5100]

You can check the PABX IP in the configuration.

To test if this is working:

Telnet using the IP address of the PABX and the port number.
eg. telnet 127.0.0.1 5100

If you make a phone call you should see the call, you should see call
data appear on the window.

Please note: End of Line character is 13 and not 10 for the
Office Serve 7100. If the PABX gives off 10 and 13, then some lines
will translate and the following not because 13 will be the first
character of the next line.

The Samsung 7000 range has the same output and therefore uses the same TNG plugin, refer to topic:

Which plugin do I use for the Samsung 7400?

When installing TNG,
select 'PSamsung_7400' as plugin
and enter the PABX IP and port (default port is usually 5100).

Also set logging of raw data to permanent.
