Overview
I have gone through the document
My USBClient says recording, but the GSM file in the DATA folder is not increasing in size
The codec is there and it is set to 44100 mono. But it still doesn't want to play in
media player. However Quicktime on the same pc works.
Solution
Check to see if there are not 3rd party codec software installed on the pc.
In control panel > Add Remove Programs
2 of the more common codec packs are
K-Lite Codec
Ace Mega Codec's Pack
It has also been found that the computer where the Media player that doesn't playback
the GSM files K-Lite codec pack was installed. It had the FFDshow codecs installed.
If K-Lite was uninstalled the Media player could play files from the hard drive
and the live listen started to work.
***NOTE***
Make sure you have media player 9 or higher and service pack 2 installed on XP
