Requirements:
- AMETHYST 1.6.1 onwards.
- A working FTP location with a login and password. Install a ftp server.
Configuration:
The Supervisor needs to be configured in AMETHYST Webadmin with a FTP login.
If this is configured, then the Supervisor will have the 'EXPORT RECORDINGS' button on the 'Search Recordings' screen.
- To configure FTP export login to the Amethyst Webadmin.
- Click on the Configure Supervisor
- Select the Supervisor that you want to give this facility too
- On the Configuration screen, you enter the FTP settings
- FTP host:
FTP login:
FTP password:
The FTP facility must be up and running for this feature to function properly.
You can ask your IT department to assist you to configure an FTP server.
- Login to the Amethyst Supervisor using the Supervisor login you modified above.
- Go to the 'Search Recordings' screen, you enter your selection criteria and search.
- To export the result in .wav format, click on the ''EXPORT RECORDINGS'.'
button. (It should be the last button, all the way on the right - if you mouse over it will display 'Export recordings of search result FTP'.) - You will get a popup that list the number of recordings to be ftp-ed, click on OK:
NOTE: The red line is the ftp location, please check that this does not contain characters like '/' or ':'. If so, the ftp will be unsuccessfull.
Please note:
Security of recordings is the responsibility of the AMETHYST client.
To give the Supervisor access to export the recordings, it must be configured in AMETHYST Webadmin(first level of security). The recordings can only ftp to this configured location (second level of security). The Supervisor must secure their login to prevent unauthorized use of the export option (third level of security).
