When I start Topaz I get an error about the "evaluation period has expired for IP X.X.X.X" and Topaz doesn't work anymore.
Solution:
This is caused by a few things.
- Topaz has not been registered and the 30 day evaluation period has passed.
- Check if there are details in the Company Details.
Choose Setup and click on Company Details.
If the entries are empty, please enter details
and click on the tick at the bottom of the screen to save these details.
Now register Topaz again. - The date of the data that has been captured by Topaz is before the
installation date (calls were recorded before the TOPAZ installation date). - The date of the first entry is 30 days after the installation date.
- Topaz has been installed on one PC and then copied/moved to another PC
without registering it again.
If topaz has not registered, print out a Registration Form and Fax it to
your dealer. They will contact you with the registration code that
needs to be entered on the License Screen.
If Topaz has been moved, the old serial number and registration codes will have
to be removed from the system. The Reset serial Program will be used to do this.
Then Topaz needs to be re-registered.
The reset program is avalable:
- Download and unrar:
- It is also on the Topaz CD in the Extras folder.
