When using Account Code PLEASE:
link the Account Codes with the User.
Leave the Extension details blank.
To check this:
Easy way to check this is using the listing of Extensions, Users and Account Codes and
then fixing the tables under DATA> EXTENSIONS/USERS/ACCOUNTS.
1. DATA > EXTENSIONS > Click on PROFILE. Make sure there are no details connected to
the extension, example User, Branch, Department must all be blank. TOPAZ will
automatically add the extension as they are being used. You don not have to add
anything here!
2. DATA > USERS > Click on LISTING. Make sure that the details connected to
the user is correct, example Branch, Department.
3. DATA > ACCOUNTS > Click on LISTING. Make sure that the details match that of
the Users, example User, Department.
To Replace/Add User Details:

To update the TRAN file with the changes you made:
In TOPAZ > DATA > USERS > Click on Update TRX File...
This will update all the fields in the TRAN file that was blank
with the data you added since the update date you selected.
Maintenance required to use account codes in TOPAZ:
*** When adding account code: 1.TOPAZ: Add account code and connect to the user,
as explained above.
2.PABX UNIT: Setup to use Account Code (Your PABX Dealer).
*** When terminating account code: 1.PABX UNIT: Remove Account Code (Your PABX Dealer).
2.TOPAZ: Delete Account Code and user.
Once this has been done and you get Account Codes in DATA > ACCOUNTS with no detail,
it means the PABX UNIT was not setup correct to validate the Account Codes that
should be in use! Get the PABX Dealer to fix this. TOPAZ will add a Account Code as it
is being used (as the PABX UNIT sends it an Account Code).
Once this is setup correct, you can proceed.
